Above the once Venetian port of Bastia, the former centre of the northern Venetian part can be found, the town of Grožnjan.Not long ago, the almost dead town has been animated by the creative projects of artists, musicians and cultural activists.Today it represents an oasis of art and music, offers a summer music school, performances and excellent exhibitions of artists and free artists. The walls of the stone town echo in the summer with musical concerts prepared for the ever-delighted public, as well as making it one of the most interesting destinations for an excursion. In spring and autumn days,thesurroundings of Grožnjan offer much enjoyment on the bicycle, and foot, paths through the fairy-tale landscape of Istria’s interior.
